Old-School Eats

Ever since arriving back in Seoul a few years ago, I was surprised to see so many changes within the city during the short time I was gone. This is especially true in the culinary scene with new foreign restaurants and coffee shops (i.e. Starbucks) popping up everywhere. Much to my chagrin, many of these new places have overtaken quite a few traditional Korean restaurants that I personally really enjoyed going to in the past. For that reason, here’s a list of my favorite restaurants that have withstood the test of time . If you live in Seoul or you’re coming for a visit, make sure to check out these old-school restaurants (minimum 20+ years of business) that are considered to be some of the best in Korea.

FYI: None of these reviews are endorsed or supported by any of the mentioned establishments. Furthermore, this blog is not monetized and functions solely as an open source for Korean food enthusiasts.
