Korea Eats

Although I currently reside in Seoul, I’ve had the pleasure of traveling all throughout Korea during my 5+ years on the peninsula. And during that time, the best dishes were always experienced outside the city, specifically Gangwon Province and Jeju Island—two places I was also fortunate to call home for a period of time. What makes the food so good outside of the city? It’s pretty simple: the ingredients. The farther you make your way out of the city, the food gets exponentially better since it’s made with fresh, quality ingredients straight from the source. The following list of traditional restaurants is my personal recommendation for terrific food found outside of Seoul.

FYI: None of these reviews are endorsed or supported by any of the mentioned establishments. Furthermore, this blog is not monetized and functions solely as an open source for Korean food enthusiasts.
